Join you fellow Chaldean Catholic Young Adults for an unforgettable pilgrimage and adventure through the Midwest, filled with faith, friendship, and breathtaking destinations.
Over four days, we’ll journey together from Michigan through Wisconsin and Illinois, visiting some of the most beautiful Catholic shrines and sacred sites in the country — including Cross in the Woods, the stunning Cathedral of St. Peter in Marquette, the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, Holy Hill Basilica, and the St. Maximilian Kolbe Shrine. Along the way, we’ll experience the beauty of Pictured Rocks, explore vibrant cities like Green Bay and Chicago, share meals and fellowship, attend Mass and Holy Hours, and create meaningful memories with other young adults who share the same faith and community.

Kick off the weekend with an unforgettable journey through Northern Michigan filled with faith, fellowship, and breathtaking scenery. From sacred shrines to the beauty of Pictured Rocks, the first day sets the tone for a meaningful and adventure-filled pilgrimage together.
6:00 AM – Depart from Mother of God Church (Southfield, MI)
We’ll begin our pilgrimage bright and early as we head north together toward Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Stop at Cross in the Woods Shrine (Indian River, MI)
Enjoy time for prayer, reflection, photos, and exploring one of Michigan’s most beautiful Catholic shrines.
2:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Pictured Rocks Area
We’ll stop near Pictured Rocks where everyone can grab lunch on their own, explore the area, enjoy the scenery, and participate in optional activities.
7:30 PM – Arrive in Marquette, MI
Dinner on your own and free time in downtown Marquette.
Overnight: Hotel in Marquette - TBD
Day two will center around prayer, Marian devotion, and community as we visit powerful Catholic sites throughout Michigan and Wisconsin. This day offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reflect, and deepen our faith together.

8:15 AM – 9:00 AM – Visit Marquette Cathedral
We’ll begin the morning visiting the beautiful cathedral for prayer and photos.
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Travel toward Wisconsin
Lunch stop along the way.
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM – National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion
Spend time at the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States for prayer, reflection, and exploration of the shrine grounds.
5:30 PM – Arrive in Green Bay, WI
Check into hotel and enjoy free time.

Saturday combines pilgrimage and fun as we visit some of the Midwest’s most inspiring Catholic destinations before enjoying an exciting evening together in downtown Chicago. From prayer and worship to fellowship and city exploration, this will be one of the highlights of the trip.

9:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Holy Hill Basilica (Wisconsin)
Enjoy time for prayer, scenic views, walking the grounds, and exploring one of the Midwest’s most iconic pilgrimage destinations.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch stop
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM – St. Maximilian Kolbe Shrine (Illinois)
We’ll gather together for a Holy Hour and prayer.
6:00 PM – Arrive at hotel in Northbrook, IL
Check in and refresh before heading into Chicago.
7:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Free Time in Downtown Chicago
Explore the city, restaurants, waterfront, and enjoy a fun night with the group.
Optional: Attend Mass at Mart Maryam Chaldean Church depending on timing.
Overnight: Hotel in Chicago Neighborhood - TBD
Our final day together will be focused on reflection, gratitude, and ending the trip with Christ at the center. As we journey home, we’ll carry with us new friendships, renewed faith, and memories that will last long after the weekend ends.
